Hemphill County Hospital officials are re-branding the facility with a new logo and signage. Along with other projects updating the functionality and look of the hospital, the fountain will be removed and the area redone with a grassy area, seating and a sidewalk for easy access to the front door. A gift from the Abraham family to the hospital when it was constructed in 1976, the fountain no longer works. Dr. Malouf Abraham Jr. has endorsed the fountain’s removal and hopes that it will go to someone who will use it. Call 323.6422 if you would be interested in owning the fountain.
