Three-way races for sheriff and commissioner to be decided in May runoff

Republican primary voters elected Dawn Webb to be Hemphill County’s first woman county commissioner this week, but only whittled down the number of contenders from three to two in hotly-contested races for Hemphill County sheriff and Precinct 3 commissioner. The rest will be decided in a May 24 primary runoff.
