Delays, delays, delays.
The entire Canadian spring athletics post season has been marked by continual delays due top uncooperative weather. The Wildcats’ trip to Austin on Saturday was no different. Constant showers through the afternoon pushed the competition back well into the evening and afternoon.
“It was actually kind of nice,” said junior Haevyn Risley. “We didn’t have to rush to get here. Being patient was the only hard thing.”
That made for a far-more electric atmosphere as 1A, 2A, 4A and 6A all ran consecutively. The 20,000 seat Mike A. Myers Stadium was packed top to bottom and echoed with . . .
