According to Chamber Administrative Assistant Kat Decker, there were approximately 200 people who stopped by the Visitors’ Center on Saturday and there were 50 on Sunday. “We sold a lot of our Fall Foliage and Car Show shirts, along with our new mugs and postcards,” said Decker.
Chamber Events Coordinator Jackie McPherson said the count at the Arts and Crafts Show was 3,138 people on Saturday and 1,339 people on Sunday. She noted that special attention was given by the “counters” not to count anyone more than once per day. “I feel like this is a very accurate count for attendance both days. I visited with many of the vendors Sunday afternoon about their sales … all said they were pleased with their sales, while some said their sales were ‘beyond great!”
