Track competition heats up at Wildcat Relays; Wildcats take gold

The Wildcats might have a solid shot at a deep track run after all.
Canadian hosted their annual meet this Saturday and the Cats excelled on their home turf, running away with a 21-point championship over Wellington, 151-130.
The JV team were a hair’s breadth away from their own team win, falling just short of Perryton’s 187 by 2 points.
Junior strongman Tyler Richardson continued adding precious metals to his ever-growing collection with a golden shot-put throw of 52-09 and a silver-worthy discus toss of 132-08. Miami’s Landon Wheeler ended up taking first with a throw of 142.
