No. 4 Wildcats hex rival Childress

Good luck to the rest of district 1-3A, attempting to knock off the No. 4 Canadian. The black Cats brought the bad juju, and while unfortunate opponents were plagued by the supernatural forces of Friday the 13th, the Wildcats flourished in their rivals’ misery.
Their latest victim? Formerly undefeated Childress (5-1, 0-1) came and went without much to say in terms of knocking off the Region 1 favorites.
“I was very proud of our kids,” said Head Coach Chris Koetting. “That was a physical, tough, hard-nosed game. We won the battle upfront on both sides of the ball. That always gives you a chance to win.”
Canadian (6-0, 1-0) manhandled their bitter rival, waltzing through Fair Park Stadium…
