McCooks a recipe for success in West Texas triumph

The No. 2 Canadian Wildcats (1-0) cooked up a victory to open up the 2018 campaign.
Taking on the 2A-DI West Texas Comanches (0-1) Friday night, the Wildcats christened their new field turf with a 35-6 triumph over their nomadic foes.
The secret recipe to success was the dynamic-duo of brothers Garrison and Grant McCook.They combined for nine receptions, 215 of the Wildcats’ 416 yards of offense, and all five Wildcat touchdowns.
Gr. McCook started the Wildcats’ season off on the right foot, taking a 38-yard pass from Casen Cavalier (15-24, 279 yds, 4 TDs) to the house on Canadian’s second play of the season—a double-reverse flea flicker.
