Wildcats tussle with Tigers one more time

Déjà vu.
It’s December, the No. 3 Wildcats (13-1) are in the state football semifinals for the fifth-consecutive year, and for the third-straight season they will face the undefeated No. 2 Gunter Tigers (14-0).
This familiarity has become commonplace in the Panhandle. For half a decade, the Wildcats have been all but assured as one of the final four teams left standing. What’s unfamiliar territory for Canadian is the role of the underdog.
