Martha “Sissy” Harris Miller, 91, of Brenham, died Oct. 22, 2019, at her home in Brenham. Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 25, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham. Arrangements were by Brenham Memorial Chapel in Brenham.

Fredrick Justin “Murph” McPherson, 71, of Freer, died Dec. 1, 2019, in Houston. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Sid Henderson, 69, of Canadian, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, in Canadian. Graveside services were held at 10 am on Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Prairie Dell Cemetery in the Gem Community, with Pastor Andy Taylor of Trinity Fellowship in Sayre, Oklahoma, and Pastor Donald Hill of the River Ministries in Canadian, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Richard Jason Waterfield, 42, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at his home in Glencoe, New Mexico. A memorial service was held on Friday, Nov. 1, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Ruidoso, New Mexico, with Pastor Randy Widener leading the service.
John M. Perrin Sr. (grandpa and pop-pop), 88, of Petersburg, Tennessee, died Nov. 17, 2019. No services are planned at this time. Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee, handled the arrangements.
Mr. Perrin was preceded in death by a son, Brian Walter Perrin; and granddaughters, Terri Ann Perrin and Kimberly Dawn Lay Cisneros.
Maria Elena Navarro, 34, of Benbrook, died Nov. 13, 2019. No services are planned.
Maria was born Sept. 13, 1985, in Long Beach, California, to Isaias Navarro of Amarillo and Martha Rosales of Canadian.
She is survived by a sister, Silvia Navarro, and her husband, Jerome Washington, a niece, Leilani Washington, and a nephew, Adrian Washington, all of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Rosa Garza and husband, Raymond, of Canadian; a sister, Isabela Navarro of Amarillo; and a brother, Isaias Navarro of Amarillo.
